Surgery or surgery are all treatment measures that use the invasive way by opening or showing the body to be handled. Surgery can evoke physiological and psychological responses. In Indonesia, the prevalence of anxiety is estimated to be 9% -21% of the general population, while the pre-surgery patient population numbers are experiencing anxiety of 80%.Handling anxiety can be overcome by back massage, because back massage can release endorphin compounds that are natural pain relievers and also create a sense of comfort.
